The OCPS Parent Academy is a free family engagement program designed to empower parents and caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to support their child's academic success and overall well-being. Through engaging workshops, interactive events, and community partnerships, families have opportunities to learn about topics such as student achievement, parenting strategies, college and career readiness, mental health and wellness, digital safety, and navigating the school system. Whether offered in person or virtually, Parent Academy sessions are designed to strengthen the partnership between home and school, helping families feel informed, connected, and confident as they support their child's educational journey.

Our dedicated staff is here to guide students and families through every step of the process—from enrollment and vaccinations to language assessments and appropriate grade placement—ensuring a smooth and supportive integration experience.

The New Worlds Reading Initiative is a free at-home literacy program in Florida for eligible VPK through 5th-grade students. Eligible children receive monthly book deliveries containing a high-quality book tailored to their interests, alongside engaging literacy activities.
