Environmental Compliance and Sustainability

About:

The Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Department proudly serves the Orange County Public Schools community by providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary expertise in environmental health, safety, and sustainability practices. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that all school facilities are not only compliant with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, but also foster safe, healthy, and sustainable environments for students, educators, staff, and visitors alike. Through proactive planning, rigorous oversight, and collaborative partnerships, we work to create spaces that support learning, teaching, working, and visiting—while promoting long-term environmental stewardship and well-being across the district.
