State of the Schools

The OCPS State of The Schools proides School Board Chair Teresa Jacobs and Superintendent Dr. Maria Vazquez the opportunity to discuss public school education in Orange County, FL. OCPS State of The Schools dives into the district’s strategy, purpose, goals and new initiatives as well as updating the community on the progress of existing programs.

The 2024 OCPS State of The Schools is presented in partnership with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute.


The 2024 State of the Schools event was held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Edgewater High School.
