*Tentative/Optional school board meeting - if needed

** Budget Public Hearing

Historically, the School Board has been conducting regular board meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. I recommend that the School Board continue this practice with the following modifications:

• one meeting in December 2024 due to Winter Break^
• one meeting in March 2025 due to Spring Break^
• one meeting in May 2025 due to graduations^
• one meeting in July 2024 due to summer shut down^

^ Section 1001.372(1), Florida Statutes, District school board meetings, requires the School Board to hold “not less than one regular meeting each month for the transaction of business according to a schedule arranged by the district school board.” Holding only one (1) meeting in the months of December of 2024, March of 2025 and July of 2025 is in compliance with Section 1001.372(1), Florida Statutes.

The tentative budget public hearing meeting on July 29, 2025 meets requirements for the Truth In Millage (TRIM).
