Join us as we have our partners share the opportunities available to OCPS students. We will share the types of programs, the process for students to participate, and keys to success.

    • High school students and their parents will meet admissions representatives and gain information from The Valencia College Outreach Department about the opportunities available at Valencia College and detail the steps to enroll

  • Virtual Mini-Academy: Benefits of Dual Enrollment at Valencia College
    • Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 6:00 P.M.
    • Through dual enrollment, you can enroll in Valencia College courses while you’re still in high school. You’ll receive both high school and college credits for completed courses. Courses can be taken online, on a Valencia College campus, or at select OCPS high schools

    • Join us for the OCPS Parent Academy Spring College & Career Fair, featuring exhibitors from colleges. universities, trade schools, technical schools and apprenticeship programs. Explore exciting career opportunities and participant in an engaging discussion with admissions representatives.

Our goal is to empower, engage and educate families and caregivers by providing high-quality training sessions, resources and access to skills and services.

The OCPS Parent Academy offers district-wide, face-to-face Parent Academies,  Learn Where You Live events which take place in each learning community, and virtual Lunch & Learn events on Facebook Live.  

In addition to the OCPS Parent Academy events, there are monthly trainings held by the Curriculum and Digital Learning, Discipline, Exceptional Student Education, Multilingual Services,  and Student Services departments for families.
