    The perfect avenue for individuals to become involved with education in Orange County Public Schools. School volunteers work at the schools of their choice and participate in activities that match their interests, such as assisting teachers in the classroom, designing bulletin boards, working with students, serving as computer tutors, working with art classes, or helping out in the office or media center.

    Volunteer Hours ADD up: The ADDitions School Volunteer program began with 200 volunteers in 1971. In the 2024, school year more than 76,553 volunteers provided their in-kind contributions to OCPS!

    Partners Make a Difference: Businesses and organizations can get involved in the school system in a number of volunteer programs such as Partners in Education. At the end of the 2024 school year, the district had 2,967 business partnerships.
