Magnet Description

The STEM magnet at Orange Center Elementary provides a foundation for students who are interested in enhancing their knowledge and skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The critical thinking skills cultivated in this magnet help to prepare students for higher education and 21st Century careers. The magnet provides opportunities for hands-on experiments and activities focused on real-world applications. Technology classes are focused on the integration of cross-curricular content using digital tools to solve problems and engineer innovative products.

Participating students may enter the magnet in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Please note that bus transportation is not provided for this magnet.

Specific Eligibility Requirements: Applicant's schedule must be able to accommodate magnet classes.
