The STEAM Career Academy at Bay Meadows Elementary extends the learning opportunities and experiences beyond the standard curriculum by providing a comprehensive, cross-curricular exploration of STEAM careers. With a Program focus on student-generated, project-based learning, and using theme-based resources, students experience the worlds of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). Students will participate in real-world, project-based activities that will bring STEAM concepts to life and develop 21st Century competencies, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Participating students may enter the magnet in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Please note that bus transportation is not provided for this magnet.

Specific Eligibility Requirements: Applicant's schedule must be able to accommodate magnet classes.
