A consistent brand builds recognition, trust, and credibility. It shapes perceptions, influences how the district is viewed in terms of academic excellence, inclusivity, and innovation, and can even impact student enrollment, partnerships, and funding opportunities.
When a brand is consistent in its messaging, visual identity, and tone, it becomes easily recognizable, allowing audiences to form clear associations with its values and offerings. For organizations like school districts, it ensures that every communication, from websites to newsletters, reinforces the district’s mission, culture, and commitment to excellence.
Our district has developed brand guidelines as a strategic step to ensure brand uniformity. When creating print or online marketing materials, please refer to these guidelines, so that together, we can continue to build a stronger, consistent brand presence.
These are our approved brand colors. Please do not deviate from this color palette.

Typography is an important part of communicating our brand. Our fonts have been selected for their simplicity, style and practicality. The primary fonts for printed publications are Montserrat and Spectral. It is not necessary to download these fonts for use in Microsoft Office (see alternatives below.) However, if you wish to do so, click here for font installation instructions. These are the fonts used within our brand assets.
The official OCPS logo is our primary brand identity. The logo is mandatory on all external communication pieces created and distributed by the district. The official logo consists of two parts: the "blocks monogram" and the "wordmark." It is also essential that you add alternative text "Alt Text" to any use of the logo in documents or web pages to provide accessibility to those who need such accommodations.
The blocks monogram should be used in conjunction with the wordmark but can be used alone if spacing is an issue. Keep in mind that, depending on the use, the intended audience may or may not know what "O-C-P-S" means.
Horizontal logos are preferred and should be used on all apparel. However, vertical logos are acceptable when space requirements don't accommodate horizontal versions.

EPS files are vector-based for professional printing applications such as Adobe Illustrator. PNG files are suitable for other applications such as web, Word or PowerPoint. Unlike JPG files, PNG files have a transparent background, which is useful on colored backgrounds.

Secondary Logo:
These are our approved file formats for print and digital use.
EPS
Use it for: Print
An EPS logo file is best used when the logo needs to be scaled without losing quality, making it ideal for high-resolution printing. This format is perfect for creating large-scale materials like banners, billboards, and merchandise, as well as for use in marketing materials such as brochures or business cards.
JPEG
Use it for: Web
A JPG logo file is suitable for use in situations where smaller file sizes are prioritized and high-resolution scaling isn't required. This format is ideal for web use, such as on websites, email signatures, or social media, where faster loading times are needed.
PNG
Use it for: Web
A PNG logo file is ideal for digital use, particularly when you need a transparent background. PNG files retain detail and clarity without quality loss, making them perfect for use on websites, social media, presentations, and digital documents.
Choosing the right file format for each logo is essential. When requesting a logo file, consider whether it will be used for digital display or print.
To request a logo file, please email graphics@ocps.net.
