Orange County Public Schools District Police is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of students at the 210 traditional public schools and 42 charter schools throughout Orange County. Our mission is to foster a sense of safety, trust, and confidence for students and staff. We take pride in being one of the few school district police departments in the state. Our unique position allows us to collaborate with various law enforcement agencies to facilitate the seamless provision of resource officers to our district schools.
Our cohesive team is composed of not only officers and supervisors but also features a specialized K-9 unit, sharp-minded intelligence analysts, and diligent support staff. From the moment a call is received by our dedicated dispatchers, to the vigilant work of our uniformed security officers and weapons screeners, every facet of our department plays a vital role in ensuring a secure environment for both students and educators.
