Hello and welcome! At Orange County Public Schools (OCPS), we believe success doesn't follow just one path. The OCPS Career and Technical Education (CTE) department is dedicated to changing lives through technical training and high-impact education.
We provide students with the technical skills, academic foundation, and real-world experience necessary to thrive in today’s global economy. Our programs, including those offered through Orange Technical College (OTC), focus on work-based learning by connecting students to high-skill, in-demand career pathways. Whether you are interested in building the next great app, saving lives in healthcare, or mastering a specialized trade, we offer over 50 career pathways across areas like agriculture, business, information technology, health sciences, engineering, transportation, hospitality, and more.
CTE students can earn nationally recognized certifications, engage in work-based learning through internships, apprenticeships, and job shadowing, earn articulated college credit, and build confidence through Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) like FFA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA. We invite you to take a deep dive into our offerings.
