The School Transformation Office is a devoted cadre and a strong proponent of the learning environments and developments for our students. We have a dedicated team which encompasses staff, teachers, coaches and administrators. With the residual challenges of learning loss from the pandemic as well as the movement from the long-standing Florida State Standards to the B.E.S.T. Benchmarks, we have made great strides to support the teaching and learning processes at our schools.

Executive Area Directors, Dr. Shelia Windom and Mrs. Raquel Flores, along with myself support and guide this department. We are all visiting schools every day and are fully engaged in the processes and procedures on the various campuses. We are looking forward to the great things our schools will accomplish.

The School Transformation Office (STO) was established in 2013 to provide strategic, centralized support based on prioritized needs. The focus of the office is to help schools function as high-performing and dedicated teams, provide training on rigor and standards-based instruction, concentrate on the individual needs of students, utilize data to drive instruction, and sustain community engagement. Additionally, the team analyzes student diagnostic and progress monitoring data to ensure resources are aligned with the cognitive demands of each learner.
